InteliTap Installer - Wet Work - Richmond VA, USA
Intelitap is a rapidly growing start up that monitors and reports on draft beer systems in bars and restaurants. We raise stores sales of draft beer by using our unique in store marketing and ensuring a consistent, enjoyable consumer experience.
Intelitap is looking for someone to lead an installation team. The in‐store installation consists of flow‐meters and temperature sensors, computer equipment and electronic marketing signage in a restaurant or bar.
This position is based in Richmond VA and requires significant travel to sites nationwide.
When not at customer sites installing the inteliTap hardware and software, the individual will be responsible for managing inventory on parts, assembly of install kits and assist in the planning of future installations.
The individual will be thoroughly trained in the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of the inteliTap hardware and software solution. Once trained and verified, the individual in this position will be expected to train other new hires as our business expands and to lead installation teams.
This role is for an individual to manage the measurement device installation into the customer's beer system and calibration of the measurement devices as part of an inteliTap installation.
Requirements for Consideration:
- Some college / trade or technical school degree (for example: HVAC, refrigeration tech, electrician, plumbing, etc.)
- Supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to perform simple arithmetic computations
- Demonstrated independent problem solving capability
- Demonstrated self-initiative, ability to complete work successfully under significant time constraints with limited supervision.
- Must be bondable and able to pass a background check
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good customer facing skills
- Preference given to recently discharged veterans

- Some college / trade or technical school degree (for example: IT, network administration, computer programming ) or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated ability to configure simple networks
- Familiarity with unix / Linux command line and simple command line shell scripts
- Familiarity with firewall security, TCP port management and proxy servers
- Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated independent problem solving capability
- Demonstrated self-initiative, ability to complete work successfully under significant time constraints with limited supervision
- Must be bondable and able to pass a background check
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good customer facing skills
